Judge for Yourself (US version) and You Be the Judge (UK version) was invented in 1993. When Spears UK was reluctant to buy the rights to the game because of the high cost of legal research, my daughter Ilana, and I spent many hours in the Newark Law Library looking up the 500 cases needed for the game.  Pressman produced a board game version (1998), where constantly changing teams (juries) voted "For" or "Against" the outcome of the case.  Paul Lamond currently produces a version with 200 cases that comes in a tin box.
